DURHAM, N.C. — Dozens of demonstrators upset about Israel's policies in Gaza took over a Triangle intersection on Thursday evening.

A silent human rights protest happened on Main and Gregson streets in Durham.

The demonstration was in response to the recent Israeli Commando raid on a Flotilla carrying aid to Gaza.

Supporters of the group, Jews for Just Peace, made their point with banners and cardboard signs.

A handful of counter-demonstrators showed their support for Israel by holding up the Israeli Flag.
