FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Authorities found human remains in an abandoned car on one of Fort Bragg’s ranges during a routine patrol in November.

Fort Bragg Range Control found the remains of Fayetteville man Ronald Farrell on Nov. 21 in a burned-out car next to Range 74 on a part of the road accessible to the public. Authorities immediately dispatched Fort Bragg Emergency Services. Farrell was 70.
