U.S. Capitol

The U.S. House voted 230 to 197 (one Democrat voted present) on Article I in favor of impeaching President Donald Trump on charges of abuse of office and obstruction of Congress. The U.S. House vote on Article II was 229 to 198 (one Democrat voted present). The charges stem from allegations that Trump asked the president of Ukraine to investigate Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son in exchange for releasing defense aid to the country.
