RALEIGH, N.C. — A Garner man has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of possessing child pornography, authorities said.

Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital officials called Dunn police recently after finding a hospital employee had been using a computer to access and view child pornography, authorities said.

An analysis of the computer found 125 pictures of men having sex with girls, and some of the pictures had been downloaded as far back as November 2005, authorities said.

Investigators obtained a warrant to seize three personal computers at the employee's home and found another 540 images of child pornography on one, including some that matched images of children in the database of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, authorities said.

Joseph Dale Rackley, 52, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. His sentencing was scheduled for Sept. 22.
