HOPE MILLS, N.C. — A Hope Mills man was arrested Tuesday in a series of peeping incidents in the Village Green subdivision, police said Wednesday.

Willie James Leggett, 55, is charged with three counts of secret peeping. He was released on bond, police said.

The charges stem from three reports last week of a man peering into windows and exposing himself.

On March 29, three people called police to report a man looking into apartment windows on Hackberry Drive.
