HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — Two neighbors in Holly Springs have managed to remain civil and friendly despite their very outward support for candidates from opposing political parties.

This Trump supporter and this Biden supporter make a grand display of their party allegiance, but they can still be agreeable neighbors.

Roy Morton and Rick Brown have lived next door to one another for over 30 years.

Morton, 62 and a supporter of President Trump, has been proudly displaying Trump paraphernalia.

Brown, 63, has signs out for Vice President Biden's campaign as well as other Democratic candidates.

"I don't know if it's been purposefully off the table. We just don't discuss politics," Brown said of his neighbor. "We've been civil all these years."

"We get along fine," Morton added. "We're just neighbors. We don't discuss politics at all."
