A Hoke County man has been charged with statutory rape, authorities said Friday.

<b>RAEFORD, N.C.</b> — A Hoke County man has been charged with statutory rape, authorities said Friday.

Billy Ray Locklear, 42, of 309 N. Jackson St., was charged with 10 counts of statutory rape of a 13-, 14- or 15-year-old, three counts of statutory sex offense with a 13-, 14- or 15-year-old and 10 counts of indecent liberties with a minor. He was being held in the Hoke County Jail on a $500,000 secured bond.

No other details of the case were released.
