Highway Patrol investigating after driver dies in single-vehicle crash
The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed one person Friday afternoon in Wilson County.
Posted — UpdatedWILSON, N.C. — The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed one person Friday afternoon in Wilson County.
Troopers said a van drove off U.S. 264 Alternate, down an embankment and ended up in a ditch along U.S. 264 at exit 51. The identity of the victim and the exact cause of the crash had not been released.
The accident remains under investigation by the NC State Highway Patrol.
