Hiester hosts luncheon to honor first responders
The Hiester Automotive Group hosted its annual Hiester Hometown Heroes Luncheon Tuesday to honor first responders.

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — The Hiester Automotive Group hosted its annual Hiester Hometown Heroes Luncheon Tuesday to honor first responders nominated for their service to Harnett, Lee and southern Wake counties.
"These heroes of our community work tirelessly to make our backyards a safer place. We want to be able to give back to them as much as they've given us," a company spokesman said.
Hiester honorees will be eligible to attend a statewide Hometown Heroes Luncheon, a program of the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association, in December.
