Police: Bodies found in Kerr Lake believed to be missing woman, man

The Henderson Police Department said Saturday that two bodies pulled from Kerr Lake are believed to be Robert Shaheeh Bullock, 40, and Kesha Smith, 36, who was reported missing Monday.

HENDERSON, N.C. — The Henderson Police Department said Saturday that two bodies pulled from Kerr Lake are believed to be Robert Shaheeh Bullock, 40, and Kesha Smith, 36, who were last seen Nov. 16.

The manner and cause of deaths are pending an autopsy.

Smith and Bullock, who Henderson police said were in a relationship, were last seen driving a 2008 white, four-door Buick LaCross with a North Carolina license plate of AEM-7904.

A car pulled out of Kerr Lake matched the car that Henderson police described.

Authorities concluded that Smith was last seen on Dabney Drive in Henderson during the morning of Nov. 16. Police did not say if that was her home or why she was in that area.

Smith was reported missing Monday.
