— A Henderson man faces federal charges in what police say is an ongoing investigation into illegal gun sales and crimes in the area.

A federal grand jury indicted Vincent Lamar Corbin, 43, of 409 Oakhill St., on charges of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a person convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

Corbin was placed in the custody of the U.S. Marshall Service.

Henderson police said they expected to make further arrests in the gun crime crackdown.
