A Henderson man has been charged in the death of a man shot at a grocery store on Sunday.

<b>HENDERSON, N.C.</b> — A Henderson man has been charged in the death of a man shot at a grocery store on Sunday.

Police say Quindarious Dantae Rainey, 22, of 63 Regina Lane, was arrested and charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in death of 25-year-old Torrey Russell Kersey.

Authorities said Kersey, of Swain Drive, was shot at Hauter’s Best Bet, 1225 East Andrews Ave. He was transported to Maria Parham Medical Center, where he died.

Rainey was being held without bond pending a June 27 court hearing.
