<b>HENDERSON, N.C.</b> — Henderson police on Friday arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with an August shooting that killed a 50-year-old Henderson man. 

Darius Montreal Benson faces first-degree murder charges in the death of Curtis Morton, who was shot inside a Henderson home on Hamilton Street at about 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 4. 

Benson was in the Vance County jail Saturday morning under no bond and will make his first court appearance Nov. 5. 

No other information about the investigation was released.
