— Two days after four members of the Henderson City Council were defeated at the polls, the city manager turned in his resignation.

Jerry Moss had served as Henderson city manager since early 2006, when he was hired to replace longtime manager Eric Williams, who wasn't retained by the council. Moss previously served as the city's finance director.
