An apartment fire in Henderson displaced 67 people early Saturday, according to the Red Cross and fire officials.

HENDERSON, N.C. — An apartment fire in Henderson displaced 67 people early Saturday, according to the Red Cross and fire officials.

The fire started at the Court Yard Apartments on Dabney Drive around 2:30 a.m. Many of the tenants are senior citizens, and about a dozen people were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

There is no word on what caused of the fire.
