Help find your focus with vision boards
Vision boards were once thought of as something just for artists or creative people, but that's not the case at all.
vision boards have been around in some form since the beginning of time. Ah, collection of pictures and words to help you manifest your dreams. Visual izing. All of your hopes, dreams and goals can be incredibly cathartic side just a different way to look at things shifting. You know what you think to be true and just looking at it through a different lens. The concept is simple. According to Louise Bartlett, who teaches Vision board workshops both in person and online, I'm a big proponent of law of attraction. Bartlett helps clients narrow down what values are important to them. We're looking at the places where life is good and it's happening, and we want more of that, which is where the law of Attraction comes into play. Creating the physical board comes next. Spend time ripping images and words out of magazines, finding newspapers, cards, hang tags, wallpaper, anything that you can find that just gives you a sense of value. This one I just got carried away with Bartlett's Personal Vision board is a mix of things that are important to her now but also thinks she wants to focus on in the future. Experts say keep your board active using pins or tape so that you can update your goals throughout the year. And once you're done, display it prominently. If it feels like a piece of art treated like a piece of art, give it a proper place on your wall. And I think that's a great way to invite positive energy into your home, ushering in positive energy and a time when it's welcome. Dan Gentleman, NBC News.
