DURHAM, N.C. — A Hello Kitty themed food truck will be stopping in Durham this weekend.
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be at The Streets at Southpoint mall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Cinema Circle.

The truck offers Hello Kitty exclusive baked goods and merchandise. The truck will have limited-edition collectibles including a new pink Hello Kitty Cafe T-Shirt; a new Stainless Rainbow Thermos, a Hello Kitty Cafe Cookie Plush, hand-decorated cookie sets, Sprinkle Mugs, Enamel Pin Sets and Madeleine Cookie Sets.

The truck will be following safety and sanitation procedures including disinfecting counters and POS and payment readers every 30 minutes and staff members wearing masks and gloves inside the truck.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck accepts only credit or debit card payments. No cash will be accepted.

The Hello Kitty Cafe launched its food truck in 2014. It last stopped in Raleigh in 2019.

The popular Japanese kitty will be the star of an upcoming live action movie. Deadline reported in March that New Line would be producing an animated and live-action hybrid Hello Kitty movie.
