Happy birthday to everyone born in October! Did you know that you can score tons of great freebies during the month of your birthday?

Did you know that you can score tons of great freebies during the month of your birthday?

If you have a birthday this month, make sure you sign up now for the many restaurant and retail offers. Some freebies require that you sign up a certain period of time before your birthday (like a week or month before) in order to get the offer for that year. And remember that not all locations are participating so you may want to call ahead to verify before you head to the restaurant or store.

Heyitsfree.net has put together a very long list of companies that offer birthday freebies and discounts including clickable links to sign up for the offers!

I also love that some of the offers are valid for a week to a month so we have plenty of time to redeem them before they expire.

Here are some of the many freebie offers I have received in recent years for my birthday:

IHOP: FREE Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity pancakes sent via e-mail. No purchase required. Dine in only.

Jason's Deli: $5 off any item sent via e-mail

Jersey Mike's: Free sub with offer on their app

Jimmy Johns: Free regular sub with offer on their app

Kohl's: $5 Kohl's Cash

Krispy Kreme: FREE dozen doughnuts with offer in their app

Moe’s Southwest Grill: FREE burrito. Coupon added to your Moe's Rewards through their app.

Panera Bread: Free birthday pastry added to MyPanera app

Pieology: 1 free pizza pie with the purchase of 1 pizza

Publix: Members of the reward program get a freebie on their birthday. This year I got a free gallon of ice cream, frozen yogurt or a bar cake from the Deli!

Red Robin: Free burger added to my Red Robin Royalty account. Reminder sent via e-mail.

Ruby Tuesday: Coupon for free burger or garden bar entree (up to an $11 value). No purchase required.

Sweet Frog: Get a free frozen yogurt on your birthday for rewards members

Starbucks: Free drink or food item added to Starbucks rewards in their app
