Posted — UpdatedAs I posted last week, Harris Teeter will be Super Doubling coupons starting Wednesday, May 19. Here are the great deals and the super doubles policies.
The list I have put together has some of the very best deals. There are also other deals using coupons that were in inserts months and months ago or are from obscure sources that most don't have access to (such as hard to find tear pads). I have not included those deals because most of you won't be able to get them. Super Doubles Policies
- HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on Wednesday. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM. (at least that is how it has worked in the past)
- HT will Super Double coupons worth up to $1.98 face value. A $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00. A $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00. A $2.00 coupon will not double at all and will only be taken at face value ($2.00).
- HT will super double up to 20 coupons per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day.
- HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have 5 $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first 3.
A piece of unsolicited advice if you are new to super doubles: Keep in mind that the best deals go quickly and unless you are there at the crack of dawn, they will already be out of alot of the best deals. They will restock as they receive product, but it is rare for anyone to get all the deals they wanted. My thought on this is that I am grateful for the deals I am able to get and I realize that there will be another good deal soon. I don't complain to the managers because that just encourages them to NOT want to offer these awesome promotions. You can also ask when the next truck will be in so you can time your shop to coincide with the new shipment. If you are so inclined, I also recommend that you call corporate or write them a note after you have shopped to thank them for offering the promotion.
