I shared my totals and a picture of the items I purchased today on the 12:30 news this afternoon. You can see the video of the segment below.

I bought $85.43 worth of product for only 85 cents!

Here are my totals:

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $85.43

Amount saved: $84.58

I used a combination of manufacturer's coupons from the paper, printable coupons, coupons from in--store coupon containers and more. I also had a few free product coupons from contacting companies to request coupons. In addition, I used a Food Lion competitor's coupon for $5 off $25 purchase, which really helped get that total so low. The coupon was mailed to households in my area as part of a marketing promotion.
