Harnett deputies investigating suspected murder-suicide of Erwin couple
A husband and wife died late Tuesday in what Harnet County authorities are calling "a domestic violence homicide."
Posted — UpdatedERWIN, N.C. — A husband and wife died late Tuesday in what Harnet County authorities are calling "a domestic violence homicide."
Someone called 911 at about 6:30 p.m. to report a suicidal person at 3093 Beaver Dam Road in Erwin, and deputies found Randy Glover, 52, slumped over in the yard with a gunshot wound, authorities said. Deputies later found Tena Glover, 48, dead inside the house "with obvious signs of trauma," authorities said.
Randy Glover was rushed to WakeMed in Raleigh, where he died of his wound, authorities said.
