<b>SCOTLAND NECK, N.C.</b> — A Scotland Neck man has been arrested for alleged sex crimes involving a child.

Ronnie Sanderson was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with two counts of felony sexual offense by an adult and felony indecent liberties with a child.

The crimes were reported in November 2020 and believed to have happened between 2008 and 2014.

Sanderson was placed in the Halifax County Detention Center with a $150,000 secured bond and has a April 22 court date pending.
