— A Littleton car mechanic is accused of stealing from both his employers and customers, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Daric Pete Pierce, 46, was charged Friday with 31 counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.

Detective Joseph Sealey said that Pierce used his employers' company accounts to order auto parts and accessories for his personal use. He also took money from customers who never received the parts they ordered, Sealey said.

He urged anyone who has done business with Pierce to call Halifax County Sheriff's Office at 252-583-8201.
