Grow real Easter grass for your basket
Want to impress all the kids at the egg hunt this year? Then plant real grass in your Easter basket.

Tookie's Toys in Raleigh's Cameron Village just got in what sounds like an unusual, but fun and educational twist on the traditional Easter basket.
Instead of filling the bottom with that plastic grass, grow real grass instead. Yep ... real grass.
The Easter grass kit comes with seeds and peat, which you place in the bottom of the basket. After two or three days in a warm spot, the seeds start to sprout. And within a week, you should have fully grown grass.
So the basket has lush greens and your child learns all about growing plants from seeds. The kits are $7.99.
