Greyhound has partnered with the National Runaway Safeline to offer a free bus ticket home to kids who run away.

The program, called Home Free, has some guidelines.

If a young person between the ages of 12 and 21 wants to return home, they must call the NRS helpline at 1-800-RUNAWAY (1-800-786-2929) to get a ticket.

The youth must be named on a runaway report and be willing to be reunited with his or her family (and vice versa). If the young person is under the age of 15, a free adult ticket may be provided as well.

One person can only use the Home Free program twice in their lifetime.

According to Greyhound, around 400 kids use the program each year.
