— A Greenville woman has been arrested in connection with a Monday armed robbery.

Kimberly Nicole Mayo, 24, of 211-B Nash St., was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Officers said the robbery occurred around 5:50 p.m. at Fabricate Too, located at 919 Red Banks Road in Greenville. Witnesses told police the suspect entered the business, produced a knife and demanded money.

After getting a description of the suspect, officers began searching the area. Officers located Mayo walking behind an Office Depot.

The money and a knife believe to have been used in the robbery were recovered, police said.

Mayo is being held under a $100,000 bond at the Pitt County Detention Center.
