Greenville police looking for driver in deadly hit-and-run crash
The Greenville Police Department posted surveillance photos hoping to locate the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Friday night.
Posted — UpdatedThe crash occurred after 9 p.m. at Memorial Drive and Airport Road. Officers arrived at the scene to find Adolph Sadler, of Chocowinity, lying in the roadway. Sadler died from his injuries.
Investigators said Sadler was trying to cross Memorial Drive when he was struck by two cars. Only one car stayed at the scene.
Police are searching for the other car, believed to be a 2011 to 2013 red Toyota Corolla with possible damage to its front left side. The car was last seen leaving Greenville, turning right onto Staton Road from Memorial Drive.
The crash is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 252-329-3550.
