Greensboro woman charged in 3 deaths, including girl and toddler, on New Year's Day

— A woman is charged with murder in a New Year's Day incident that left a man, a child and a toddler dead.

Brittany Christina McKinney, 28, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder.

On Jan. 1., officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded to a welfare check call at a home in the 3600 block of Sweet Birch Drive.

Jerry Griffin, 61, Mkenzie Denise McKinney, 10, and Serenity Taliem Rose, 2, were found dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
