Living Social is offering a super IMAX deal today. For $6 for kids and $8 for adults you get admission to an IMAX documentary with popcorn and a soda. The regular price is $13 and $16, respectively so this is a 54% savings! There is a limit 2 per person. Valid for IMAX Documentaries only. Coupon expires on August 4, 2011.

We have been to many documentaries at the IMAX theater and they are spectacular! Even as an adult I find myself reaching out to touch the fish swimming by or the clouds we are "flying" through. The Raleigh IMAX location has NC's only 3D-capable giant screen as well as a state-of-the-art surround sound system and a 50-foot high screen. If you have never been, I definitely recommend it.
