Great deal on Scott paper towels and toilet paper!

I just scored a super deal on Scott toilet paper and paper towels at Lowe's Foods!

Coupons: There are .75/1 coupons for both products in the March 3 SmartSource coupon insert from the N&O. You can also find coupons on www.scottbrand.com.

Catalina register coupon offer: There is a Catalina deal going on through 3/31. Get a $5 Catalina register coupon valid on your next shopping order when you buy $20 worth of these products. The $20 minimum is calculated on the pre-coupon amount. The register coupon printed out after I paid for the products. It is valid through 4/11/15. 

My transaction: I bought 3 packs of toilet paper and 2 packs of paper towels. I used 3 of the .75/1 Scott toilet paper coupons and 2 of the .75/1 Scott paper towel coupons. Each of the .75/1 coupons doubled to $1.50 so the amount I paid at the register was $3.49 per package (plus tax). That is actually a good price even before the Catalina register coupon.

BUT - when you factor in the $5 Catalina coupon that printed out at the end of the transaction, my total was only $2.49 per package - a great deal! That makes the toilet paper only 20 cents per double roll!

The regular price of these is $7.99 per package so this is a savings of 69% on toilet paper. I love it when that happens!
