Creedmoor, N.C. — A fire at an abandoned house in Granville County on Thursday night was the fourth blaze at the building in the past three years, authorities said.
The fire was reported at a home at Cannady Mill Road near the intersection of N.C. Highway 96. Authorities did not provide a specific address.
Granville County Fire Marshal Doug Logan said it appeared Thursday night's fire started outside the house, which was locked and did not have electricity turned on.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
