and s at this time has 96 counties from what I understand. Uh And Heart systems has four. And we have contacted both about this endeavor. And we told ES and S and ask them to uh at our meeting with him this past summer. It was great to look in the machines in our office that they had supplied us, but that we want to randomly pick machines in north Carolina and go look at actual machines that were used in our 2020 election. And they were more than glad to help us in this endeavor. And they will be glad to send a specialist that they have who will be allowed to open the machines as we witness. And he will close them and they will re certify if that is not satisfactory to the north Carolina board of Elections. They said that they would actually replace it. Heart has said they would allow us to come and look also. So we have the uh basically we have the right through our constitution. We have the permission from the people who supply the machines. All we need now is the cooperation of the north Carolina board of elections into whatever county is chosen. So at this time we're gonna do our random pull And I brought a beautiful hat and actually it lights up. So yeah, Durham is our county and I expect full cooperation from the good people in Durham because I feel like they have nothing to hide. I think I'll try to turn my hat off else and goes, so we look forward to working with them proving that our elections were true and were valid and there was nothing wrong with them. If that's not the case then we look to do an investigation and if there needs to be criminal charges they will be filed also. So we're willing to work both ways. We pray that it is a very valid election and that we will not find anything that these machines are very well secured and safe. But if not then we'll do whatever we have to do. Uh We will also be accompanied and assisted by the N. C. G. A. Police in our investigation and they will be the ones that will help us go and find any evidence and help us secure we stand for any questions right now. Yes sir. Please identify yourself. Well, let me answer this question here and females would like to step in and add anything to it. I can uh we consider this a start. This is not an end. This is not the last thing. We will do Our job. We feel like it's the freedom caucus to make sure that any and all questions are answered as far as our 2020 election or any other elections we've had and to make sure that going forward we do have secure elections that is the bedrock of our republic two involved. And also I have the numbers of food and also on personal I was out for two weeks before the election. I was on the front line election. I have a marketing ourselves t shirts. I was outselling trump t shirts and while I was hard thinking trump people was also canvassing whole general part and I knew all the energy was on assad and very few people requested about t shirt for buying to win. And also trump had rallies where he tracked thousands of people and biden remain in the basement. And when he when he did hold a rally, it was just a handful of people. It's a fraudulent election. And I know it, sir, I appreciate your comments and that's what we're here for. Um for the record donald trump did win north Carolina and we are concentrating on north Carolina. Yes sir, my name. I would like to ask you whether you able to both part. Okay, so more technical back, you might not be aware if I understood your question right? You ask if we were going to bring any any experts that have technical ability to do the election uh as far as what we're doing, we are bringing in S and E to do their part of it and machines. We also have our own computer forensic gentlemen that will help us take a look and make sure that we don't miss anything. He was with us when we were there this past summer and we will bring him back the same one again he's seen both machines with and without so we realized what to look for or he does especially. Is there a point of contact for submitting questions as an example? You know looking at a machine after the fact really isn't looking at a machine during voting. What we'd really like to see is a kind of proof that those machines really weren't on the network. Usually that's done with a network log and I would hope that there would be logs that we could look at proving those machines the I. P. Addresses were not in fact for Boeing. Well there shouldn't be an I. P. Address at all to those machines with no motive minimum at all. But we will do our research. Like I said our first step is to make sure that they do not have the ability to connect to either uh any type of computer system or the internet or anything that they are totally isolated machines as E. S. And S. Has stated to us. And also heart follow up. Yes. Yes they should not be on the internet the network that they connect to would be entirely the port of elections network so not getting into the details. A network log during election could be gone through and you know, the Mac addresses for each machine are unique. So is there a point of contact that we can just submit these types of questions to? Yes. If you would be a couple different ways. The north Carolina house Freedom caucus is one way you can do it. We actually have an email address to it. Uh We also are on facebook, so if you'd like to go on facebook, unfortunately I have to use that thing but that's where we're at and that's what we're doing. And also you can submit to either Representative keith kid well's office or to my office. Representative Jeff McNeeley's office? Either one being acting secretary or bobby represented bobby hangings office being the vice chair. So either three of those, you can do it down if you'd like please maybe submit to offer at the same time. That way to make sure we're on the same page and get kids. Yes, ma'am. So what do you think that there are these machines are connected to the We don't think they are, but we need to make sure that they're not. There's been many, many millions of accusations of computer tampering machine tampering of votes being switched because of modems of things being done. So our job is to prove that it is not and was never in any way go to the internet or anyway, it was I guess the best word it was messed with. Why do you suppose people believe, uh, you know, I don't know their narrative to a point, but I do feel like that if you have it something that's called a computer of some type or another and it has a motive in it, then there's ability to hack and so our job is to make sure that there's never been any kind of issue with anyway to be connected so that it cannot be hacked and that's our job. I'm gonna let bobby hang also miss laura fucking interject on that. The goal that we're trying to achieve is to build confidence in our elections. Where the first step takes us. We'll tell us where the next step goes. That's the that's the only objective here. We feel it is our job. It is our duty sworn elected officials to ensure that integrity. And that's what we're here to do. And that's the bottom line when you're coming out of the gate talking about criminal charges, it doesn't sound like that. We're hoping that never comes to fruition. Now. Well, as I heard the elections were run by the executive branch, correct with oversight from the legislative elections, will agree to do this. We will be contacting them real shortly. We have just pulled their name out of the hat and so they have been chosen which time one, I think, actually, in the very back gentlemen. So just to be clear with the local election officials across the state republicans and democrats running our county elections? They all said machines are not connected to the internet. Why you need to undertake any additional investigation? Why can't you take over public right election? We have an extremely large population that doesn't believe that. And we're here to verify that and to assure them that their vote matters. Do you believe by undertaking this investigation to that these frankly false theories about what happened? Russian? Um, you determine them false. We haven't determined that yet. That's our job. Do any of you up there believe that joe biden is the duly elected president of the United States? No. Where do you believe the widespread fraud occurred? We're not sure. That's why we're here. They're being audits over and over again across the country. Election. What is it you're looking for? You haven't found we're not looking for anything in particular. What we're looking to do is build confidence in our elections. I've said it once. I've said it several times today, that's the objective. That's the only object telling people they shouldn't have confidence in the results. Representative Kidwell was unable to attend a sponsor of the bill And we hope that you will pray for him, his wife Vicki and then both because she's still having complications from open heart surgery and so he's with her today. Uh, so we just uh put our prayers to them and hope that everything that comes out. Jack, thank how soon will you go to Durham County initiate this inspection? Uh, as soon as possible like tomorrow. I don't think it will be this week, but I could could be uh, I have been given evidence take and since it is Durham, that's on my way home, I was afraid I was going to have to go out to the coast today or Murphy north Carolina because I do want to go ahead and make sure that whatever county that we ended up choosing out of the hat that we went ahead and secure the spot so that nothing could go forward from here. So I will be making an appearance and Durham today and try to secure to make sure that room all those machines cannot be tampered with until that time. So I just came in just a few minutes late. So just to make clear the state board of elections back earlier this year said no you can't expect these machines. What makes you think that they that will be changed? Have they had a change of heart or something or So that's what a moment. Mhm. Uh Karen Brinson Bell was not aware of the channel statue that allows the north Carolina legislature to retrieve data or to ask any questions and have answers from any government agency. So we will start with that as our general statute. If we have to use like I said our escorts and the N. C. G. A police to help us. We will do whatever it takes to go about our mission. Hello, everyone. I'm meteorologist Mike Mays in the w severe weather center. We're looking at a w weather alert day for the day. Sunday. There's a level one risk for severe weather. Right now. The timing looks to be from one to about seven o'clock and heavy rain is likely with localized flooding. Now, as of right now, the storm system is in its infancy coming together across the mid Mississippi Valley, not a whole lot of rain with it. In fact, during the day, tomorrow, there may not be a whole lot of thunderstorms for us. On Sunday, there's the level one threat we're talking about damaging winds, heavy rainfall and isolated tornado threat. I think on a scale, the flooding threat is here, the damaging wind threat here and even lower would be an isolated tornado threat. So I'm not really concerned about tornadoes with this, but more in the way of rain. And there could be quite a bit of it. All four of the models that we have access to have pumping out a great amount of between 1.5 to 2 inches of rain. And you can see the weather prediction center is on board with that as well. All those purplish areas are between 1.5 to 2 inches of rain and you can see that from Raleigh Northward Fayetteville, 1 to 1.5. So we could be looking at a great deal of rain out of this event coming up tomorrow. If you have any outdoor plans. A ok, we have area Christmas parades that will be dry. It will be breezy and it will be mild with 70 in Raleigh 72 at Fayetteville. Sunday looks in the morning a chance for showers, but most of the rain is afternoon, evening and overnight 71 in Raleigh, 71 in Fayetteville. And then on Monday behind the system, it is breezy. It is cooler. We expect our high temperature here in the triangle on Monday, about 51. It's mostly sunny 52 Fayetteville, 36 in Boone. So our forecast not as chilly tonight with 40 for lows, although 39 can't be ruled out in Roxboro. And then for the day tomorrow, upper 60 to low 7, 68 Roxboro 70 in Raleigh 72 Fayetteville. Get outside and enjoy the weather. W weather alert day on Sunday is just going to be a mess, especially the afternoon and evening. The roads will be quite wet. 71 the high 90% chance of rain, Sunday night and Sunday itself Monday through Friday of next week look dry highs in the 50 s lows in the 2030 s, that's our forecast update. You would start us off with the building statement. He had another tremendous season. Um didn't end the way we wanted it to but gives us something to push for uh next season. Um But kids uh did a tremendous job tonight, man, I'm so proud of them and uh they definitely have nothing to hold their heads down about. Um Just a little disappointed right now. That's all at this time to take questions for the players first. Yeah, I know you were able to play for a state title a couple of years ago. Anything about that experience that helped you with the poise of playing for another state title in a different sport? Uh I mean, really my first year when I played in it, it was hard like gear and stuff, you know, big crowd, you just gotta play through it. So this year I just played through it, but, you know, I came up short with it. What happened when he went down there and then um I was cramping up, you know, cramping up in my calf, just went to my trainers, they rolled it out and I just had to fight through it. We also say questions for coach. Did you think that you guys have done everything possible up to that point? You just need one more, one or two more plays to pull it off. Uh Yes, sir. You know, uh, the penalties, the penalties killed this. So, I mean, just gonna go back, look at what happened and just fix it next year since you want to know the, you know, it hurts right now. But the last couple of years getting that heartbreak in the East regional final wasn't mean to you as a senior. Like go that next step, be on the stage and be in the game to the last second like this. Uh I worked hard for this summer times with my brothers. We push for everything last year. We didn't make it. We came back this year that we had to do, make it to the big stage. We just ain't pulled through many mistakes we made on our end. It's gonna be better next year because it just feel like to you at some point, this is a game where whoever has the ball, you know, last with the enough time going to score because of how efficient both offenses were. Yeah, I mean, two contrasting styles, but both of them very effective, uh hats off to uh Hickory and uh they have a good program, but we got a good one too and uh we're good at what we do. Um, they're good. At what they do. And, um, there were times where it did come down to, uh, uh, a state or penalty here or there, um, necessarily not the other team to stop us but ourselves. So we just got to, uh, clean up the, uh, mistakes play a little cleaner and, uh, we'll get the results we want. Was it difficult to defend them? I mean, they can spread the ball out so easily, but then they, they run you back and you just turn up the middle. How much of a challenge was that? Well, they do present some challenges and uh they're very crafty bunch. Um They do some things that uh put some players uh in conflict. But, um, you know, that's football, it's about Xs and Os. These are the kids out here um playing and making decisions at critical moments. But, um, you know, it's the same thing with, uh with our, our offensive system. It translate well to uh create uh opportunities and situations for our skilled guys as well. Um It was just a battle of wheels out there and uh they had the ball last for either player. Was it difficult adjusting to the turf out there in the field? Do you guys play on grass for county? They play on a turf field? Was that an adjustment at first? Uh Yeah, really? But, you know, you just had to uh keep your feet on the ground, you know, pick your feet up. So, yeah, you good. Tell you any field is any field you gotta push through, we gotta play anyway. So any other questions, guys, there's only seven other teams to get an opportunity to play this late in the year. You've got a tremendous season. Congratulations. It takes a lot of courage to come in here and answer questions after a game like that. But you have a lot to be proud of. You play yours out. I'm proud of it. I appreciate it. Ok? Just a minute. We'll have a degree in here outside. Some is of that. Yeah, that, that there's some are still out on the field, some are still out on the field. Some of them still do. Well, we need to go three days, the rest of them. Really just like the last thing, the ball, man. I mean that's just, I know what happens the drain already doing here. The re grad tornadoes. We have coach Glass Brady Stover, Isaiah Lackey and Henry Pitt. So, take an opening statement from coach first, uh, um, game. These guys played the hearts out. Um, you know, it's just, it's, it's still a blurb. Haven't really all synced in yet, you know, I mean, I, like I said, the first time I've ever been 27 years for our, for our community and for our school, I think it's a, it's an amazing thing and at this time we'll take questions for the players first, Brady you get the ball with, uh, could have been the last drive game, but I leave much time left. What was your thought going out there, uh, in a T ball game? I mean, I'm sure that's like a situation you probably dreamt of before everything else. Yes, sir. I was, I was very excited to get that moment. I mean, that's what every kid could dream of. You know, uh, just thinking about situations the night before, you know, state championship on the line. That's all you could wish for. And it's just always a blessing to be in that situation. What was it that about their defense? You feel like you could move the ball that quickly? I mean, not you guys move the ball all night but move the ball with that much time left in, in pressure situation. Well, we knew they were playing off, so, just taking, taking what they give us and, uh, I had it in the back of my mind with how hard they were dropping. If, if I needed to, I could take off whenever I, whenever I want to. So, uh, those, those are the main things. Well, I'm cringing every time. Yeah, it seemed like that's what kind of broke their backs, right? Those scrambles that he had. Um, what I mean, the, the scene is just, it's so versatile, right? The receivers, Isaiah, just powerful running back. I mean, it was that like being able to prepare as a coach when pretty much anything that any kind of buttons they can press, you could have another button to press back at them. I mean, like I said, I, it's amazing. I mean, like I said, uh, coach NATO, he does a great job with these guys and, and, you know, he, he has been prepared. I don't take any credit for offense whatsoever. I go over there and yell at the offensive lineman every once in a while because I'm an old offensive line guy. But, uh, other than that, that's all coaching told he's, he does a great job. You know, he's, he's, you know, we call him rain man a lot of times because he's, he used to be an architect now. He's a math teacher and like, he's just so smart and just, you know, he, it just clicks for him. Obviously, you know, you aren't the biggest offensive line. You're not the biggest line out there, but they did a great job tonight. They played with leverage really well. Um, you were able to bounce on the outside. I mean, talk about that group because obviously, you know, the thing going in was like, you know, so versus big team du was a big team, but they played really well. Talk about your offensive line. Um, I mean, we're not the biggest but they, uh, they get after it for real, like they, um, they head hunters like, so this comes natural to him. Does that help you guys out with a guy like this? He can just clap through. Yeah, it does. You just kinda get in their way but lack you run through him five yards. I don't know what was going through the defensive mind on that last possession. I think you needed to stop. Obviously, I mean, o obviously you wanna make big plays, but at that point, we were thinking d score, stay deep. Nothing about us. That's what we done all year. So nothing different. How kind of early on in the game could you or anybody can get a feel, it, this feels like a game where the team of the ball last, you have a team of the ball last we probably gonna win or, uh, as long as you can score, we leave a little bit of time for the next game. Am I early on? Could you tell like, man, these are, this is a back and forth battle. I mean, I, I saw a look in our kids eyes coming in the halftime that I hadn't really seen in a little while. They had a, they, they look fatigued and I, you know, we, but I told them all week that 71st just gonna lay on them and lay on them and lay on them and lay on them and I told them that, that what they've had some close games early and they've just been able to pound and pound and pound and, and finally teams end up succumbing to them and they just able to make big runs and everything else. I mean, we gave up, what, 26 points, I think it was something like that and they're averaging giving up what, 48. So we can say defense played bad, but to me, they played pretty good. We mean, we didn't break, um, you know, we, we gave him some big plays, we made some big plays and we were able to withhold in the second half and like I said, I, I was really worried about the physicality, um, kind of a different look in the locker room than we've had in a while. A little bit of a look of panic in their eyes. And then, you know, then I let the seniors talk for a little bit, which we've done all year and came in and made a joke and laughed a little bit and we came on back out and be, I hate to see you guys in the spring. Uh, you kinda gave me the coach but he kind of downplayed. That seem to be, I think. Um, did it seem surprise you at all or did you? Oh, I didn't, never. You told me we'd have been here back in August 1st. I told you a lot. I never thought. I mean, honestly, I thought we'd be a 2nd, 3rd round playoff team. I didn't know if we were big enough upfront if we had the line to do it. Um, I knew we had the skill kids. Um, I was just worried about us upfront. I mean, we're starting a sophomore guard, you know, junior tackle 100 and £75 center. You know, I mean, you tell me how many state championship teams that run the spread offense and have 2000, some odd yards rushing play with a group that small. You, you know what I mean? That, that makes a big difference. So, I mean, that I can't say enough about those guys. So usually it seems that one of these championships are very senior heavy July juniors in this, especially quarterback, but still overall, it's a pretty young team. Um, ho how do you take this and build on it? Sure. We won't change anything. We're still gonna grind just as hard. We'll give them, I'll give them next week off. We'll have exams. We'll come back on Christmas and we will be back to 320 reps a day. They love it. We back to listen, hard getting that. So the players, uh you know, coach said back in August, you know, possibly 2nd, 3rd round. Was there a point this season where you all as players realized? Yeah, we can make this run. I think when we beat the ri state champions, uh a link, uh we didn't just beat them even by 20. I think we knew then we're legit and we just kept winning, kept winning, kept winning. Your, your conference has won two straight. Now, uh How, how did playing in that league for this? Our conference is good. I mean, you know, we switched up our nonconference this year to try to kind of see some different things, some more physical teams with, with playing high, Brighton and, and playing Cox. We, we wanted to see somebody that was from the city and, you know, had a little bit different kind of vibe to them. Um We went through against West Charlotte this summer. We strategically did some things that summer to try to put our kids to be ready to play different teams that weren't in our conference because we knew our conference was gonna be good. Um, you know, I think those things helped us with the East Lincoln and the Stakes was in north, in North Lincoln. Um, you know, those, those are three really good teams that, you know, all won the first round playoffs, I believe. You know, so, except for ST, I think they were Chris. But, you know, I mean, it's, it, it's a test in our conference that it's a tough, it's a tough league. People don't realize, I mean, it's, it's really tough. So you guys got the turf hill this off season? So you played on grass team for those. So I'm curious, what, what's the difference between the grass and the term? Do you think that helped you tonight being that you guys have played on that all year? I think it, we, we've had, we've had turf the whole time, but that, that turf was very low. He slipped a lot. He, he slipped a lot. I was like, it was, it was very slippery. We, our turf is a longer turf. So hes Isaiah slipped more than he has all year. I kept saying, why is he falling down? I thought he was falling down on purpose at first. He said he was slipping. You still run people over, rolling over about it. Maybe how did last week's kind of late game situation help. Maybe this week you've been in that situation. Yeah, that's, uh, I think it definitely helped a lot and, uh, just knowing and having that confidence in the back of your head, like we've done this before, why not go out and do it again and, and like I said, it's just, it's always a blessing to be in those situations. Those, those situations are the ones you dream of your whole life. So, you know, just pressure is a privilege as coach says. So go out and make the most of it quick question for the players. Um Obviously a pretty decent drive to get here. I think about 2.5 hours. How cool was it to see the support of not only the, the talent, good crowd here, but the students that came and supported you and what kind of, what kind of like energy does that give you out on the field? Seeing that your peers are out there in the crowd supporting you all? Yeah. Um It's different, you know, we played in games like for instance, last year we were down 20 to Statesville in the last game and the student section left, we came back to a one point uh margin and we just had no energy, cheering us on or anything like that. I think that was a major part of it, but it's good to have support uh community. They don't only support us at the games but um outside the games with they feed us all this other stuff donates. Um, I it was pretty good, like it's just a good environment and having them behind us is great. I think another cool thing is just seeing like players growing up, like I grew up in hickory.
