Goldsboro woman seriously injured in wreck
A Goldsboro woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 13 in Wayne County Saturday morning, state troopers said.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 13 in Wayne County Saturday morning, state troopers said.
Windy Vass Noll, 37, lost control of her vehicle going around a curve around 8 a.m., then ran off the road and struck a tree, troopers said.
Noll's injuries were initially believed to be life-threatening, and she was flown to Duke University Hospital in Durham. A hospital representative said Noll was in good condition Sunday.
Troopers said the cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
