Goldsboro teen fatally shot in face, possibly accidentally
A 17-year-old in Goldsboro died after being shot in the face Saturday, Goldsboro police said.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A 17-year-old in Goldsboro died after being shot in the face Saturday, Goldsboro police said.
Police received a call around 11:20 a.m. The victim later died at a hospital.
Police said the victim might have been accidentally shot by an acquaintance.
Two firearms were found at the scene. Other juveniles at the scene were released to their parents.
A death investigation is underway.
