Goldsboro Man Charged in Shooting Death
A Goldsboro man was charged Thursday with murder in connection with a Tuesday slaying, police said.

Joseph Irwin Knight, of 1406 E. Walnut St., is being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail.
Jadie Demon Taylor was shot Tuesday in the 300 block of Creech Street, police said. He was rushed to Wayne Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle, and he died at the hospital, police said.
