Goldsboro man charged in 2-year-old's death
The Goldsboro Police Department has arrested a man in connection with the March 31 death of a 2-year-old.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department has arrested a man in connection with the March 31 death of a 2-year-old.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Day Circle around 11:30 p.m. on March 31. A toddler girl was taken to the Wayne-UNC Health Care emergency department, where she was pronounced dead.
No details about the cause of death were provided.
On Monday, police arrested Rodgerick Alando Jones, 29, for an open count of murder in connection with the girl's death. Jones was being held in the the Wayne County Detention Center with no bond.
