Goldfish Is Releasing A Frank’s RedHot Flavor

If you’re a fan of Frank’s RedHot, there’s a new snack hitting stores that you’ll want to keep on your radar. Just in time for summertime BBQs and beach trips, Goldfish has teamed up with the hot sauce brand for limited-edition  Goldfish Frank’s RedHot crackers.

Goldfish Frank’s RedHot crackers are made with the classic hot sauce ingredients, including notes of vinegar and a blend of aged cayenne peppers. They have the same flavor as original Goldfish, just with the heat of Frank’s RedHot.

A Pepperidge Farm spokesperson tells Simplemost the crackers are the result of more than 35,000 fan requests for the flavor, making it the No. 1 most-requested flavor of Goldfish. The crackers will arrive on shelves at retailers nationwide for a limited time beginning in May.

This is far from the first product crossover involving Frank’s RedHot. Subway has a new Frank’s RedHot Buffalo chicken sandwich and, believe it or not, Dunkin’ had a Frank’s RedHot Jelly Donut last year.

While the doughnut is no longer available, the sandwich is still on Subway’s menu. Along with chicken and Frank’s RedHot, it also has ranch dressing and toppings of your choice, though the sandwich shop recommends lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers.

If you’re looking for something to go with your sandwich, Frito-Lay has hot sauce potato chips that are flavored with Frank’s RedHot. The chips are available nationwide at stores like Meijer and Walmart.

Frank’s RedHot also has a few of their own new products, including Buffalo ‘n Ranch sauce and a canned Bloody Mary. The pre-mixed Bloody Mary cocktails are flavored with Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce and have an alcohol by volume of 5.5% for a 12-ounce can.

There are also plenty of recipes using Frank’s RedHot as well, if you’d rather make something yourself. The brand has dozens of recipes on their website, including dip, mac and cheese, burgers and even flatbread pizza!

The recipe for Frank’s RedHot Loaded Buffalo Chicken Flatbread calls for chicken, hot sauce, bacon and three kinds of cheese: cream cheese, mozzarella and blue cheese.
