<b>GLENDALE, AZ</b> — A woman suffered serious injuries after she was shot during a road rage incident in Glendale, police said.

Police received a call about a shooting around 5:10 p.m. and found a woman suffering a gunshot wound near 59th Avenue and Bell Road, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident that started a few miles south.

The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police said the shooter, also a woman, was at the scene and cooperating with police.

No additional information was immediately available.
