Let's kick off the weekend with a giveaway for a Groupon coupon worth 2 Tickets to the El Anatsui exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Art! The tickets are good through July 29, 2012.

The museum is located at 2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, North Carolina 27607.

Museum Hours

Tuesday–Thursday 10 am–5 pm

Friday 10 am–9 pm

Saturday–Sunday 10 am–5 pm

Closed Mondays

Admission to the permanent collection and beautiful Museum Park are free. The special exhibits (like the El Anatsui exhibit) are an additional fee, but there is plenty to see in the permanent collection and park. If you are looking for something to do this weekend, it's a very nice outing. If the weather is nice, bring a picnic and enjoy lunch in the Museum park with the lovely walking path including statues and other artwork.
