RALEIGH, N.C. — I love gifts that are practical, don’t add clutter, and offer some sort of experience. This holiday, you can find gifts just like that at your local Farmer’s Market or “maker” market. Not only will you find unique gifts, you are supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs.
In this edition of my WRAL Holiday Gift Guide, I’m taking a look at great gifts for foodies made by locals that you can find at your local market.

Peggy Rose Jellies

What: 100% woman-owned business specializing in pepper jellies, cranberry pepper fruit spread, spicy mustard, and more. Check out their website for great recipe ideas including ones for Instapot!

The Pleasant Bee

What: One of the top resources for local honey, beeswax, and body care products straight from the hive. Check out their two gift boxes which feature honey and body care items for $25 or $40.
