N.C. State Fair continues drive-thru food event this weekend
Get a taste of the North Carolina State Fair without leaving your car.

RALEIGH, N.C. — You can get a taste of the North Carolina State Fair without leaving your car this weekend.
The North Carolina State Fair will be hosting Drive-Thru Fair Food Days Friday through Sunday (June 5-7). The events will run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sales will be cash only.
Drivers should enter the fairgrounds parking area off of Trinity Road. Orders will be placed from your car and servers will come to you. People are asked to remain in their vehicles to maintain social distancing.
This is the menu:
- Funnel Cake - $6
- Deep Fried Oreos - $5
- Deep Fried Snickers - $5
- Fresh Squeezed Lemonade - $4
- Bottled Water - $2
- Roasted Corn - $5
- Deep Fried Pickles - $6
- Deep Fried Cheesecake - $5
- Deep Fried Pumpkin Pie - $5
- Edible Gourmet Cookie Dough - Cup $5, Quart $15
- Corn Dog - $5
- Dole Whip Cup - $5
- Dole Whip Float - $7
- Smoothie Pineapple - $10
- Smoothie Cup (flavors: pina colada, strawberry, peach)- $5
The North Carolina State Fair is planned for Oct. 15-25 at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The Got to Be NC Festival, a precursor to the fair held each May, was canceled this year due to the coronavirus.
