Get a glimpse inside Raleigh's first food hall
The Morgan Street Food Hall and Market will be opening July 23 in the downtown Raleigh Warehouse District.
Posted — UpdatedEvery way you turn, the market has something new to offer. Whether you are in the mood for a breakfast crepe, Thai-rolled ice cream or curry, the food hall has something for everyone.
Long communal picnic tables offer a space to eat with others, enforcing the idea that the food hall is a shared space for creating community. Public Wi-Fi will also be available, opening up the venue for visitors to sit and stay.
The venue also houses two bars - The Arbor, which includes indoor and outdoor patio space, and Auntie Betty's, a small gin and cocktail bar.
Most of the restaurants at Morgan Street Food Hall pride themselves on having locally grown or sourced food. Some restaurants, like Cocoa Forte and Cousin's Maine Lobster, are food-truck style vendors redesigning their shop to fit the new eatery.
Though Morgan Street now has a wide variety of different restaurants — from ramen bowls to gourmet hamburgers to Boba tea — all the vendors have one thing in common; each are passionate about Raleigh and want to be a part of its growth.
