<b>ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.</b> — Nash County sheriff's investigators were searching Sunday for a man who robbed a gas station near Rocky Mount.

Authorities were called to the Pit Stop at 5201 W. Mount Drive around 6:30 p.m., the sheriff's office said.

A description of the robber wasn't available Sunday night, but investigators said they believe he was armed with either a rifle or shotgun.
