Raleigh, N.C. — The Raleigh Fire Department responded to a gas leak at the corner of Davie and Wilmington street in downtown Raleigh Thursday morning.
A spokeswoman for PSNC Energy said a contractor cut a 1.25-inch line near a parking deck at 331 S. Wilmington St. shortly before 11:30 a.m.
Crews capped the leak about 15 minutes later.
Nearby intersections were blocked off while crews were responded, but there were no immediate reports of injuries or buildings being evacuated.
