Gas leak affects traffic on Raleigh's Western Boulevard
A gas leak Monday morning affected traffic along part of Western Boulevard in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A gas leak Monday morning affected traffic along part of Western Boulevard in Raleigh.
A spokeswoman from PSNC Energy said a contractor was making repairs in the area of Western Boulevard and Powell Drive and hit a gas line about 11 a.m. A crew from the utility was dispatched to secure the line.
Traffic was blocked in the area, and drivers were being asked to take alternate routes.
