Garner police investigating drive-by shooting

A Raleigh teen was wounded Monday night in a drive-by shooting in Garner, police said.

GARNER, N.C. — A Raleigh teen was wounded Monday night in a drive-by shooting in Garner, police said.

The shooting happened at about 10:15 p.m. at 109 Weston Road.

Christopher Gause, 17, was shot once in the leg by a man driving a gold or brown Honda sedan, police said. He was treated at WakeMed in Raleigh and released.

Destiny Wiggins, 22, of Garner, was possibly grazed in the leg by a bullet and was treated at the scene, police said.

Investigators said they don't believe the shooting was random.
