Garner man charged with 12 sex crimes involving videos of girls as young as 3
A Garner man has been arrested and charged with 12 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor involving young teenage girls and babies.

GARNER, N.C. — A Garner man has been arrested and charged with 12 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor involving young teenage girls and babies.
Erich Anton Engel, 42, had images and photos depicting sex with children as young as 3 years old, according to an arrest warrant.
The second-degree charge means that Engel did not create the sexually explicit photos and video but did exchange them with other people.
Engel was being held under a $350,000 bond at the Wake County Detention Center.
Engel previously turned himself into the Myrtle Beach Police in 2013 for criminal sexual misconduct with a young child in a Myrtle Beach motel in 2012, according to NBC affiliate WMBF.
