Garner man accused of beating teen son
A Garner man faces a child abuse charges for allegedly beating his 14-year-old son, according to an arrest warrant.

Hugh Lee Bradford, 52, of 1703 Cranston Road, was charged Monday with intentional child abuse inflicting serious physical injuries.
The warrant states that Bradford beat his 14-year-old son in April, causing multiple lacerations on the boy's arms, back, face, ear and head. Child Protective Services was involved in the investigation.
Bradford was placed in the Wake County jail under a $10,000 secured bond. He was scheduled to appear in court Monday.
If he is released on bond, Bradford must not have any contact with his son or anyone under age 17, court papers state.
