RALEIGH, N.C. — Thursday will be pleasant, with low humidity and high temperatures in the mid-80s.
The normal high for the end of July is 90 degrees, but temperatures will peak at 85 on Wednesday and 86 on Friday and Saturday.
Most days this month have been hotter than normal, WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said.
A high-pressure system northwest of North Carolina is bringing in mild air from Canada.
Skies will be clear Thursday, and a low dew point will make for a lovely day, Gardner said.
High temperatures stay in the mid-80s until Monday, when they're expected to return to 90 degrees.
