Fuquay-Varina man accused of grabbing deputy's genitals

A Fuquay-Varina man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly grabbed a Wake County deputy's genitals and encouraged a woman to resist arrest.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Fuquay-Varina man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly grabbed a Wake County deputy's genitals and encouraged a woman to resist arrest.

Louis Edward Marshall Jr., 46, of 3512 Glass Slipper Drive, grabbed Deputy C. Miller's genitals as the deputy searched him, according to an arrest warrant. He was charged with assaulting a government official.

Marshall was also charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly encouraging Angie Coe to resist her arresting officer at the Wake County Public Safety Center. Coe then actively resisted the officer, according to the warrant.

No other information was released.
